Tibor Posta opened his bike rental shop, “Rent a Cruiser Bike” right next to the bike route that leads around Lake Velence five years ago. He offers cruiser type-bikes, tandem bicycles, and many other bikes to go on a pleasant ride around the lake, for team-building, or for a tour around the neighbourhood. Tibor’s business is the same age than the Lake Velence-bike trail but Tibor’s passion towards biking goes far back in time. As a local he opened up his rental place to help tourists to get around the region by a more naturalistic way. He recommends the cruiser bicycles to those people, who would like to experience the beauty of Lake Velence from a much closer perspective than by car.
Tibor himself rents bikes while traveling and he also choses race biking as a sport. They have a racing bicycle team with his friends, ABC Nutrixxion.
The bikes for rent are bookable in advance on the phone or on the messenger or email. It is possible to rent individually or as a group. It is recommended to get in contact with Rent a Cruiser Bike in advance, because the weekends are usually very crowded, and it can happen that someone will not get a bike when just stopping by the shop. Tibor is a very kind host, he also provides rapid service for bikers who have a problem along the way.
